  Sending Love Sale-A-Bration Card

(featuring the Rings of Love 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper and Aspen Tree Dies)

Hello!  Today I am sharing a quick card project (with co-ordinating envelope) featuring two of the Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration products - the Rings of Love 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (item 159939) and the Aspen Tree Dies (Sale-A-Bration item 163102).  The Rings of Love DSP is available for free with a $60.00 CDN order (before taxes and shipping), and the Aspen Tree Dies, which Stampin' Up! just recently made available as a Sale-A-Bration product, is available for free with a $120.00 CDN order (before taxes and shipping).  Remember that the Sale-A-Bration products are available only while supplies last!  Sale-A-Bration continues until August 31, 2022.

For this 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" side-fold card and co-ordinating envelope I used the following supplies:
  • Night of Navy cardstock (item 100867) for the card base and the matting circle for the house on the envelope flap;
  • Basic Gray cardstock (item 121044) for the frame, which was cut using the Fabulous Frames dies (item 159163)

  • Smoky Slate cardstock (item 131202) for the inner frame and sentiment panel - cut using the Stitched Rectangles dies (item 151820).  In order to accurately cut the inner frame I glued the piece of Smoky Slate cardstock to the back of the Basic Gray cardstock frame and then cut the rectangular inner frame - the inside rectangle I used as the sentiment panel for the inside of the card.  I also used Smoky Slate cardstock for the scalloped matting circle for the envelope flap house circle;
  • watercolour paper (Fluid 100 5" x 7" Watercolour Paper - item 149612) for the aspen tree die cut - I used Basic Gray ink (item 149165), applied with a wet paintbrush, to add colour to the die cut trees.  The die cut was trimmed and glued to the back of the Basic Gray/Smoky Slate cardstock frames and then the entire panel was glued to the card base;
  • Stylish Shapes dies (item 159183) to cut from the Rings of Love DSP the house circle for the front of the card, and the Night of Navy cardstock matting circle for the envelope flap house circle;
  • Layering Circle dies (item 151770) to cut the envelope flap house circle and matting Smoky Slate cardstock scalloped circle;;
  • Sweet Gingerbread stamp set (item 159714) for the sentiments and stamped heart;
  • Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (item 132708) to stamp the sentiments;
  • Sweet Sorbet ink (item 159216) to stamp the heart;
  • Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker (item 100082) to add the splatters to the sentiment panel - done by flicking the brush end of the marker against the marker lid;
  • Perfectly Penciled 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (item 159244) for the co-ordinating envelope (made using an envelope punch board);
  • Linen Thread (item 104199) - to tie the bow through the Dollarama wooden button on the front of the card; and
  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue (item 110755).
For all die cutting I used my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (item 149653).
