It's all here in Black & White . . . with a little colour added too!

Part 2 of 2

Hello!  Today I am sharing a few more projects continuing the sneak peek of the new Stampin' Up! black and white patterned All Together 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (item 160039), which will be available as of February 1, 2022! Part of the new All Together Collection, the DSP will be available from February 1, 2022 until May 2, 2022, while supplies last!
Spring Daffodil Card
Although it is still January, and maybe a tad early for thoughts of spring, after receiving over 40 cm of snow the other day a little hint of spring wouldn't go amiss!  I used Basic White Thick cardstock (item 159229) for the base of this 5" x 5" card.  For the daffodils I used the new Daffodil dies (item 157794 - also available as a bundle with the Daffodil Daydream stamp set):  I cut the flowers from Daffodil Delight cardstock (item 119683) and Crushed Curry cardstock (item 131199); and the stems and leaves from Garden Green cardstock (item 102584).  Before assembling the flowers I lightly sponged all pieces with Mango Melody ink (item 147093).  I sponged the leaves and stems with Old Olive ink (item 147090).  When adhering the daffodils to the DSP panel I did not glue them down completely and behind the full flower I used one of the Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (item 144108).  After adhering the DSP panel to a Daffodil Delight cardstock panel and a Basic Black cardstock panel I tied a bow around the panels using Daffodil Delight 1/4" Ruched Ribbon (item 151311 and currently available on the Clearance Rack!) and then glued the entire assembly to the card front.  To complete the card front (and to add just a little bit of sparkle) I added three gold Metallic Pearls (item 146282).  When applying little embellishments, such as the Metallic Pearls, I have found using the tacky putty tip of my Take Your Pick tool (item 144107) to be a great help in ensuring success!
For the interior of the card I stamped the sentiment "sending warm and happy wishes this spring", from the new Easter Friends stamp set (item 157737), on Basic White Thick cardstock using Stazon Jet Black Ink (item 101406).  I used Daffodil Delight cardstock and Basic Black cardstock for the mats, accented with some more pieces of the DSP.  Using an envelope punch board I made a co-ordinating envelope from some Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (a 2021 Sale-A-Bration item) that I still had on hand.

Gift Bag
This little gift bag (measuring 4" tall x 4" wide by 1" deep) was made the same way I made the Daffodil Afternoon DSP gift bag [https://archiesatelier.blogspot.com/2022/01/a-few-sale-bration-projects-hello-since.html]  I used two 6" x 6" pieces of the DSP, each piece scored at 1" on all four sides.  To make the handles, through the holes for each of the front and back of the bag, I threaded a 14" length of Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon (item 156485), tying a triple knot on each end of the ribbon inside the bag (to further secure the ribbon, I glued each knot end of ribbon to the inside of the bag).  To embellish the front of the bag I used the Pierced Blooms dies (item 154312) to cut a flower and leaves - the flower, and small center, from Basic White Thick cardstock (item 159229); the leaves from Bermuda Bay cardstock (item 131197); and the flower's large center from Basic Black cardstock (item 121045).  To the center of the flower I added one of the large black Classic Matte Dots (item 158146).  I glued the flower and leaves to a 2 1/4" square Basic Black cardstock panel, which was matted with a 2 1/2" square Basic White Thick cardstock panel, and a 2 3/4" square Basic Black cardstock panel.

"Quilted" Happy Birthday Card
I used Basic White Thick cardstock (item 159229) for the base of this 5" x 5" card.  After gluing nine 1" square pieces of DSP to a 3 3/4" square Basic White Thick cardstock panel I embossed the panel using the Stitched Greenery die (item 155451) - I really like using this die as it gives the paper a quilted look. The embossed panel was then glued to a 4" square Basic Black cardstock (item 121045) panel, which was then glued to the card front.  I cut the flowers and leaves using the Pierced Blooms dies (item 154312) - the flowers from Just Jade cardstock (item 153079); the leaves from Shaded Spruce cardstock (item 146981); and the two centers for the large flower from Basic Black cardstock.   I think the pairing of the Pierced Blooms dies with the Stitched Greenery die accentuates the quilted effect of the card - a perfect combination for any cards for a quilter! To complete the front of the card I added one of the large white Classic Matte Dots (item 158146) to the center of the large flower and one of the small Matte Black Dots (item 154284) to the center of the small flower.
The "Happy Birthday" sentiment, from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (item 151595) was stamped using Stazon Jet Black Ink (item 101406) on a Just Jade cardstock label cut using the label die from the Pierced Blooms dies.  I used Shaded Spruce cardstock and Basic Black cardstock for the inside panels, using a strip of the DSP behind the sentiment label.

Again I made the co-ordinating envelope from a piece of Flower & Field Designer Series Paper, using an envelope punch board.  I also used some of the retired Just Jade 2020-2022 In Colour 1/4" Ribbon (perhaps you were lucky like I was and were able to add some of this very pretty ribbon to your stash when it was recently available on the Clearance Rack!).
