Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder Projects

(Another sneak peek of Stampin' Up! January-June 2022 Mini Catalogue!)

Hello!  Today I am sharing a few more projects featuring the new Stampin' Up! Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder (item 157641) from the upcoming January-June 2022 Mini Catalogue.  This embossing folder (which includes the embossing folder and nine dies), along with lots of other exciting products from the Mini Catalogue, will be available as of January 4, 2022!  In addition, Sale-A-Bration will run from January 4, 2022 to February 28, 2022, so there are a few good things to look forward to as we turn the page on another year!

Polished Pink Heart Card and Co-ordinating Envelope
I used Polished Pink cardstock (item 155710) for the base of this 4 3/16" x 4 3/16" card.  The Polished Pink embossed panel measures 3 15/16" x 3 15/16" - I used the embossing folder together with the larger of the two heart dies.  The larger of the two heart dies included with the embossing folder "snaps" into the embossing folder and by using the two together you can emboss and cut out the heart simultaneously.  I have set aside the pink embossed heart for another project!  I cut the inlay heart from Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper (item 155464) using the large heart die.  I cut the gold mat and bow from Brushed Metallic Cardstock (item 153524) - the bow was cut using the Pierced Blooms dies (item 154312).  The gold mat measures 4 1/16" x 4 1/16".  After gluing the pink embossed panel to the gold mat and then gluing the gold mat to the card front I glued in the inlay heart.
I glued a white button from my stash to the center of the bow and to the button I added a gold Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots (item 156506).
I used Basic White cardstock (item 159276) for the inside panel and embellished it with a strip each of the Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper and Brushed Metallic Cardstock.

I used Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper for the co-ordinating envelope, which was made using an envelope punch board.

Polished Pink Heart Window Box
I used Polished Pink cardstock for both the top and bottom of this 4" x 4" x 1" lidded window box, which would hold a small gift or quite a few edible treats.  The measurements for the top and bottom are:
  • the top (lid) is 6 1/16" x 6 1/16" - scored at 1" on all four sides; and
  • the bottom is 6" x 6" - also scored at 1" on all four sides.
After scoring the top I cut out a circle opening in the center using the Layering Circle dies (item 151770).  I cut the top mat and side mats from Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper.  From the top mat I cut the heart opening using the larger of the two hearts included with the embossing folder and glued this panel to the top of the lid before gluing/assembling the lid.  Behind the circle opening I glued a piece of acetate measuring just under 4" square (Window Sheets - item 142314).  After assembling the lid I glued on the DSP side panels and then using a 1" circle punch cut the thumb notches on two opposing side panels.  Around the box I tied a bow using two lengths of White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding (item 151326).  To the bow I tied (using gold cord from Simply Elegant Trim - item 155766) a Polished Pink heart tag cut using the heart tag included with the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box dies (item 150644 - currently available on the Clearance Rack).  To the pink heart tag I glued a small gold heart I cut from Brushed Metallic Cardstock (item 153524) using the small heart die from the Birds & More dies (item 152721).  Before gluing the gold heart to the pink heart I embossed the gold heart using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (item 152718).

Basic Black/Basic Gray Gift Box
I used Basic Black cardstock (item 121045) for the top and bottom of this 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 1" lidded box.  The measurements for the top and bottom are:
  • the top (lid) is 5 9/16" x 5 9/16" - scored at 1" on all four sides; and
  • the bottom is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" - also scored at 1" on all four sides.
The decorative side panels are cut from Basic Gray cardstock (item 121044) and have been embossed using the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder.  In order to accentuate the floral embossed design I lightly sponged each embossed panel with white ink (item 147277) before gluing them to the assembled lid.

The Basic Gray doily on the lid is also a new item from the Mini Catalogue:  the 3 1/4" Heart & Home Doilies (item 157956) come in three colours - Basic Gray, Misty Moonlight, and Cinnamon Cider, and are white are the reverse side.

The flowers and leaves were cut using the Pierced Blooms dies (item 154312) - the flowers from Flirty Flamingo cardstock (item 141416); the leaves from Old Olive cardstock (item 100702); and the flowers' white centers from Basic White cardstock (item 159276).  I added a gray button from my stash to the white center of each flower.

The "my friend" sentiment, from the Easter Friends stamp set (item 157737) - also a new item from the upcoming Mini Catalogue - has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (item 132708) on Flirty Flamingo cardstock, which has been cut using the Tailor Made Tags dies (item 155563).  Around the box I tied a bow using the Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon (item 156485).

And finally . .
When making your Valentine treat holders don't forget about the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box - perfect to hold a few chocolate Kisses (and a few Hugs too maybe!)  Currently available on the Clearance Rack, the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box dies (item 150644) include the sweet stitched heart tag die.  I have made this little box from Basic Black cardstock; the heart tag is cut from Polished Pink cardstock; the "Love" sentiment is from the Quiet Meadow stamp set (item 155082) and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  I added a Black & White Gingham Ribbon bow embellished with a tie of silver cord from the Simply Elegant Trim pack (item 155766).
