A Few More Christmas Treat Holders . . .

Hello!  Today I am sharing a few more easy Christmas treat holder ideas! Every year there seems to be the same time crunch and mad rush to complete all the last minute preparations for Christmas but these are easy projects that won't take too much time to complete.  You can never have too many ideas for treat holders!

Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box
The Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box dies (item 150644) is currently available on the Clearance Rack!  This little treat holder is very easy to assemble and makes a great festive table favour - when you use some of the Christmas designer series paper, such as Heartwarming Hugs (item 153492), or Tidings of Christmas (item 155718) you can keep embellishments to a minimum or not add any at all!

Triangle Treat Box
Triangle treat boxes are definitely quick and easy, and can be made in a variety of sizes - here I have started with a piece of DSP (Heartwarming Hugs) that measures 3" x 6", scored in half to create a little holder that is just the right size to hold a couple of chocolate kisses!  The "Ho Ho Ho" sentiment, from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set (item 158335) has been stamped in Real Red ink (item 147084) on Basic White Thick cardstock (item 159229), which has then been cut using the Tailor Made Tags dies (item 155563).  I added a little green button from my stash to the tag.  I used Mossy Meadow 3/16" Braided Linen Trim (item 154298 - which is also currently available on the Clearance Rack!) for the holder closure.

Santa and Elf Pouch Treat Holders
These treat holders are similar to the Halloween treat holders I made (https://archiesatelier.blogspot.com/2021/10/quick-easy-halloween-treat-holders-with.html), and accommodate a 3" x 3" Zip-Lock Polybag (from Dollar Tree).  The cardstock base, which measures 3 1/2" wide by 8 1/2" long, is scored on the 8 1/2" side at 3", 3 1/2", and 7".

For the buttons, buckles, and belts of each holder I used the buttons (small for the elf and large for Santa), strap and buckle dies from the All Dressed Up dies (item 151665) - the buckles (and Santa's buttons) are cut from Brushed Metallic cardstock (item 153524).  I used Garden Green cardstock (item 102584) for the base of the elf treat holder; and Real Red cardstock (item 102482) for the Santa holder (and the elf belt).  Santa's belt was cut from Basic Black cardstock (item 121045).  The collars were cut from Basic White Thick cardstock using the Stitched So Sweetly dies (item 151690).  Before cutting the two collars for Santa, I embossed the cardstock using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (item 152718).

Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper Mini Milk Carton Treat Holder
I used Basic Black cardstock for the base of the milk carton (8 1/2" x 7"; scored on the 8 1/2" side at 2", 4", 6", and 8"; and on the 7" side scored at 2", 5", and 6 1/2"); and Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Series Paper (item 156394) for the decorative panels.  I added the DSP panel to the front panel of the milk carton before I cut the window opening using the Stitched Rectangle dies (item 151820).  A piece of acetate (Window Sheets - item 142314) was glued to the inside of the front panel before the milk carton was assembled (I also glued on the rest of the DSP panels before assembling the milk carton).  The tag is cut from Basic Gray cardstock (item 121044), which was stamped (2nd generation) using the "dotty" stamp from the Forever Fern stamp set (item 152559) using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (item 132708).  A Christmas tree cut from Basic Black cardstock using the Cabin dies (item 156404) was added to the tag - the star is from a Dollarama glitter pack.  I added a bow of Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon (item 156485), embellished with a silver cord (Simply Elegant Trim - item 155766) bow to a stubby black clothespin I picked up at Dollarama.  I used black embroidery thread to tie the tag to the gingham bow.

Grinch Hershey Kisses Treat Holder
For this treat holder I adapted the instructions provided by Chic N Scratch in her blog post, "12 Weeks of Halloween - Week #3 - Halloween Tote" (https://chicnscratch.com/).  I used Granny Apple Green cardstock (item 146990) for the holder base and handles [for each handle I used two frames (glued wrong sides together before adhering to the inside of the holder) cut using the Layering Circle dies (item 151770)].  I used Heartwarming Hugs DSP for the front, back, and side decorative panels,  The bow was cut from Real Red cardstock using the Pierced Blooms dies (item 154312) and I added a white button from my stash.

Russell Stover Caramel Santa Treat Holder
For the base of the holder I cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock 10 5/16" long by 3" wide.  On the 10 5/16" side I scored at 5/8"; 5 1/2", and 5 5/8".  I used Heartwarming Hugs DSP for the decorative panels, and I adhered the front DSP panel before I cut the window opening using the Layering Circle dies.  I secured the Santa in the holder using a couple of strips of double-sided tape; and used a small staple to secure the top fold-over before adding the narrow DSP panel.  (The fold-over could of course also be secured using a ribbon threaded through holes punched through all layers and then tied in a bow).  The poinsettia and leaves were cut using the Poinsettia dies (item 153522) - the flower from Real Red cardstock, and the leaves from Mossy Meadow cardstock (item 133676).  I added a small white button from my stash for the flower center.

3 1/8" x 3 1/8" Acetate Card Box Treat Holder
For this treat holder I used a 3 1/8" x 3 1/8" Acetate Card Box (item 150428), around which I wrapped a piece of Heartwarming Hugs DSP measuring 2 3/8" wide (and long enough to overlap at the back).  The white "medalion" (or stylized snowflake!) was cut from Basic White Thick cardstock using the Encircled In Beauty dies (item 155546) - I added a small strip of Heartwarming Hugs DSP across the center of the "snowflake" before adding the 3/4" wide Garden Green cardstock band around the box.  The red and green buttons are from my stash, and I tied a white baker's twine (Baker's Twine Essentials Pack - item 155475) bow on the red button.  These little boxes hold quite a few treats!

I had a lot of fun making these treat holders and hope that you will have fun making yours!
