Tidings of Christmas Snowflake Ornaments

Hello!  Today I am sharing a few snowflake ornaments I made using the Stampin' Up! Tidings of Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (item 155718).  I made these snowflakes following the instructions provided by Maymay Made It Crafts in her YouTube video of November 6, 2021 - "As Many As Ornaments" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOKSTumiZeM).  I have also included a series of photos showing the steps for assembling the snowflakes.

The snowflakes will be great for Christmas tree ornaments or as embellishments for gift packages, and the Tidings of Christmas DSP, embellished with buttons and baker's twine and/or linen thread, give them a perfect country Christmas feeling!
One piece of the 6" x 6" DSP will make one snowflake.  Each 6" x 6" piece of DSP is cut into twelve (12) 1/2" x 6" strips and 6 of these strips will be used for each "half" of the snowflake:
In addition to the Tidings of Christmas DSP, I used the following supplies to complete my snowflakes:
  • Encircled In Beauty dies (item 155546) - used to cut centers for two of the snowflakes;
  • Soft Succulent cardstock (item 155776) - for one snowflake center;
  • Evening Evergreen cardstock (item 155574) - for one snowflake center;
  • White and Crumb Cake baker's twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack (item 155475);
  • Linen Thread (item 104199);
  • gold and silver cord from the Simply Elegant Trim (item 155766) - used for the hanger cords for two of the snowflakes;
  • liquid glue (Multipurpose Liquid Glue - item 110755);
  • buttons from my stash to embellish the centers of the snowflakes; and
  • small hole punch to punch the hole in the "top" of the snowflake to accommodate the hanger cord.
I had a lot of fun making these snowflakes and hope you do too!
