All Bundled Up!

(a few projects featuring the All Bundled Up stamp set)

Hello!  Today I am sharing a few projects I worked on this week featuring the Stampin' Up! All Bundled Up stamp set (item 159824) - these cute little characters are perfect for some fun Christmas projects, and the first significant snowfall of the season also definitely helped put me in the mood to work on Christmas projects!
For the watercoloured images I stamped the images on watercolour paper (Fluid 100 5" x 7" Watercolour Paper - item 149612) using Stazon Jet Black Ink (item 101406) and coloured the images using Classic Stampin' Inks.  Unfortunately there are no co-ordinating dies for this stamp set, but fortunately the fussy cutting is not too onerous (even for me!) and the Paper Snips Scissors (item 103579) are definitely a big help!  For all die cutting and embossing I used my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (item 149653); the Paper Trimmer (item 152392) for all cardstock and paper trimming; a stylus and scoreboard (Simply Scored Scoring Tool - item 122334) for all paper scoring; a bone folder (Bone Folder - item 102300) for burnishing all score lines; and Multipurpose Liquid Glue (item 110755) for the main adhesive.  The tacky putty tip of the Take Your Pick tool (item 144107) certainly comes in handy for placing small embellishments! I also find the Stamparatus (item 146276) - a stamp positioning tool - to be a great help in ensuring crisp images as it lets you stamp multiple impressions, which greatly reduces for me a lot of wasted paper because I find that I often don't get a single stamped impression as crisp as I would like!

Season's Greetings slimline card
For the front panel of this 8 5/8" x 4 1/8" slimline card I applied Starry Sky ink (item 159212) with a blending brush (Blending Brushes - item 153611) to an 8 1/4" x 3 3/4" Basic White Thick cardstock (item 159229) panel. Over the blended ink panel I flicked some Craft Stampin' Ink White Refill (Item 101780) that I had thinned with a little bit of water - I added a few drops of the White Refill to an acrylic block and with a paintbrush mixed in a little water; I then flicked the slightly thinned White Refill onto the blended ink panel with the paintbrush.  Before adhering the additional elements to the front panel or matting the panel I stamped the sentiment (from the Brightest Glow stamp set - item 159542) using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (item 132708).  I used the following additional supplies to complete the card:
  • Basic White Thick cardstock for the card base;
  • Basic Black cardstock (item 121045) for the matting panel;
  • Basic White cardstock (item 159276) for the three die cut snowflakes, which were cut using the small snowflake dies from the Chic dies (item 158815);
Chic dies - item 158815
  • Decorated Pine dies (item 159710) to cut the two pine branches from watercolour paper (which were coloured using Old Olive ink - item 147090, and Soft Suede ink - item 147115);
Decorated Pine dies - item 159710
  • Starry Sky ink, Soft Suede ink, Old Olive ink, Basic Gray ink (item 149165), and Real Red ink (item 147084) to colour the images; and
  • Stampin' Dimensionals (item 104430) to attach the moose.

  • Starry Sky cardstock (item 159263) for the matting panel;
  • Stylish Shapes dies (item 159183) to cut the watercolour paper circle (to a piece of watercolour paper I had applied Starry Sky ink (item 159212) with a blending brush (Blending Brushes - item 153611) and then spritzed with water [Stampin' Spritzers - item 126185] and blotted dry with paper towel), and the white glimmer paper (Real Red & White 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper - item 159578) snow hill.  Using the Gingerbread House dies (item 159718) I cut the snow hill shape from the white glimmer paper before using the circle die to cut the bottom circle portion from the white glimmer paper;

  • 2022-2024 In Colour Matte Decorative Dots (item 159186) - three of the Starry Sky/Orchid Oasis shaded dots added around the circle.
Using an envelope punch board I made a co-ordinating envelope from a piece of Starry Sky patterned paper from the 2022-2024 In Colour 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortments (item 159253), and added a snowflake cut from Basic White cardstock using the large snowflake die from the Chic dies (item 158815), and a silver cord (Simply Elegant Trim - item 155766) bow.
