A Few More Sale-A-Bration Projects!

(Part 2 of 2)

Hello! Today I am sharing a few more of the cards I worked on this week featuring some of the Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration items (this is Part 2 of the blogpost from yesterday, August 18, 2022).  Sale-A-Bration ends on August 31, 2022!

For all my projects today I have used Multipurpose Liquid Glue (item 110755) as the adhesive, and for all die cutting and embossing I used my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (item 149653).  Additional tools that come in very handy: Paper Snips Scissors (item 103579), Paper Trimmer (item 152392), Take Your Pick Tool (item 144107); and Simply Scored Scoring Tool (item 122334).

On with today's projects!

Hippo Dies (item 159928) Umbrella

For this 4 1/2" x 2" top-fold "stop-light" - although the colours are not in the right order! - card I cut the umbrellas out of watercolour paper (Fluid 100 5" x 7" Watercoloour Paper - item 149612) and watercoloured them using Mango Melody ink (item 147093), Granny Apple Green ink (item 147095), Sweet Sorbet ink (item 159216), and, for the handles, Basic Gray ink (item 149165).  After the ink was dry on the umbrella canopies I stamped each one with the small splatter stamp from the Painted Poppies stamp set (item 151599), using the same colour of ink as I used to colour the respective umbrella canopies.  I added additional splatters using my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker (item 100082) by flicking the brush end of the marker against the marker lid.  I used the following additional supplies for the card:

• Basic Black cardstock (item 121045) for the card base, and the circles (cut using the Stylish Shapes dies - item 159183);
• Basic White Thick cardstock (item 159229) for the inside sentiment panel (which I also splattered using my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker);
• Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (item 132708) to stamp the sentiment, which is from the No Matter The Weather Card Kit (item 156977);
• silver/white striped paper from the Sale-A-Bration Silver & Gold 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (item 159941) for the front panel and a small strip along the bottom of the inside panel; and
• black and white patterned paper from Perfectly Penciled 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (item 159244) for the strips used on the front panel and along the bottom of the inside panel.

For this 4 1/4" x 2 1/2" side-fold card I was thinking baby shower gift card.  I cut the three umbrella bases from Basic Gray cardstock (item 121044) and the umbrella canopies from Blushing Bride cardstock (item 131198).  I sponged both the handles and canopies with Craft Stampin' White Ink (item 147277).  For the card I used the following additional supplies:

• Smoky Slate cardstock (item 131202) for the card base;
• Basic White Thick cardstock (item 159229) for the matting and inside panels;
• Smoky Slate patterned paper from the 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortments - Neutrals (item 159257) for the front panel;
• Basic Gray ink (item 149165) to stamp the "congratulations" sentiment, from the Happiness Abounds stamp set (item 159238); and
• white baker's twine (Baker's Twine Essentials Pack - item 155475) for the umbrella's bow.

Using an envelope punch board I made a co-ordinating envelope from Blushing Bride cardstock.  Around the envelope I tied a bow using some light gray glittered tulle I found at Dollar Tree and which matches quite well with the Smoky Slate cardstock!

Wonderful World Stamp Set

(which together with the Wonderful World 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper constitutes one Sale-A-Bration selection - item 159918)

For this 4 1/8" x 2 3/4" top-fold card I stamped the iris from the Wonderful World stamp set on Very Vanilla Thick cardstock (item 144237) using Starry Sky ink (item 159212) and, using one of the Blender Pens (item 102845) "coloured" the petals.  I also used the following additional supplies for the card:

• Very Vanilla Thick cardstock for the card base;
• Starry Sky cardstock (item 159263) for the oval frame;
• Orchid Oasis cardstock (item 159267) for the sentiment label;
• Starry Sky ink to stamp the "Hello" sentiment, from the Forever Fern stamp set (item 152559);
• Fabulous Frames dies (item 159163) to cut the oval Starry Sky cardstock frame and the Orchid Oasis cardstock sentiment label;
• Orchid Oasis patterned paper from the 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortments - 2022-2024 In Colour (item 159253) for the front panel; and
• Classic Matte Dots (item 158146) - two large Very Vanilla dots used on the sentiment label.

Rings of Love 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper

For this second 4 1/8" x 2 3/4" top-fold card I also used Very Vanilla Thick cardstock (item 144237) for the card base, and the house image was cut from the Rings of Love DSP using the Stylish Shapes dies (item 159183).  I also used the following additional supplies for the card:

• Orchid Oasis patterned paper from the 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortments - 2022-2024 In Colour (item 159253) for the front panel and strips;
• Orchid Oasis cardstock (item 159267) for the sentiment panel (cut using the Stitched Rectangles dies - item 151820);
• Starry Sky ink (item 159212) to stamp the sentiment, from the Happiness Abounds stamp set (item 159238);
• Very Vanilla baker's twine (Baker's Twine Essentials Pack - item 155475) - tied around the front of the card; and
• 2022-2024 In Colour Matte Decorative Dots (item 159186) - one small and one large of the Starry Sky/Orchid Oasis shaded dots added to the bottom of the front panel.
