It's all about the greens!

(Part 1 of 2)

Hello!  The projects I am sharing today began with a treat/gift bag for St. Patrick's Day and morphed into a fun challenge I gave myself to make treat/gift holders using each of the Stampin' Up! greens - Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Shaded Spruce, Mossy Meadow, Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz, Mint Macaron, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, and Just Jade - a very versatile array of shades representing each of the four basic Stampin' Up! colour collections - Brights, Neutrals, Regals, and Subtles - and the two In Colour collections.

Shamrock Gift Bag - Garden Green (Regals Collection)
I used the All Dressed Up dies (item 151665) to make this St. Patrick's Day treat/gift bag - the bag and the three large stitched hearts were cut from Garden Green cardstock (item 102584); the handles and "belt" from Basic Black cardstock (item 121045); the "buckle" from gold cardstock (Brushed Metallic 12" x 12" Cardstock - item 153524); and the three small hearts from Soft Seafoam cardstock (item 146988).  The stitched hearts were cut using the smaller of the two heart dies included with the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder (item 157641); and the small hearts were cut using the small heart die from the Birds & More dies (item 152721).  I cut an extra front section of the bag from Garden Green DSP from the 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortments - Regals (item 155227), which I adhered to the front of the bag before assembling the bag.  To the center of the shamrock I glued a button from my stash through which I had tied a small piece of black baker's twine (Baker's Twine Essentials Pack - item 155475).

Shamrock Gift Box - Shaded Spruce (Regals Collection)
For the base of this 3" x 3" x 1 1/2" deep gift box I used Shaded Spruce cardstock (item 146981) - 5 15/16" x 5 15/16" scored at 1 1/2" on all four sides.  For the lid I used a full 6" x 6" piece of the Shaded Spruce DSP from the 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortments - Regals (item 155227) - also scored at 1 1/2" on all four sides.  After assembling the lid, and cutting the thumb notches using a 1" circle punch, I lightly sponged all edges of the lid with Shaded Spruce Ink (item 147088).  The three stitched hearts for the large shamrock were cut from Just Jade cardstock (item 153079) using the stitched heart die included with the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder (item 157641).  I cut the stem of the shamrock freehand (thankfully not too much of it shows!)  The three small hearts were cut from Shaded Spruce cardstock using the small heart die from the Birds & More dies (item 152721).  The little flowers used for the centers of the shamrocks were cut using one large and one small of the four flower dies included with the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder - two from Shaded Spruce cardstock and one from Just Jade cardstock.  To the center of each I  added one of the gold Metallic Pearls (item 146282).  Around the box I tied a bow using gold cord from Simply Elegant Trim (item 155766).

Laffy Taffy Lidded Window Treat Box - Granny Apple Green
(Brights Collection)
For the base and lid of this 3" x 1" x 1 1/4" box, which holds two small packages of sour apple Laffy Taffy, I used Granny Apple Green cardstock (item 146990) - the base cut at 3 1/8" x 5" and scored at 1" on all four sides; the lid cut at 2 3/16" x 4 1/16" and scored at 1/2" on all four sides.  The window opening was cut using the Stitched Rectangles dies (item 151820).  Before assembling the lid I glued a piece of acetate (Window Sheets - item 142314) approximately 2 3/4" x 1" to the inside of the lid behind the window opening.  For the DSP panels for the front, back, and sides of the base, I used Granny Apple Green DSP from the 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortments - Brights (item 155228).  To embellish the lid I added a leaf sprig cut from gold cardstock (Brushed Metallic 12" x 12" Cardstock - item 153524) using the Pierced Blooms dies (item 154312); one large, one medium, and one small of the Pearl Basic Jewels (item 144219); and a gold cord bow (Simply Elegant Trim - item 155766).

Kit Kat Easter Break Treat Holder - Soft Seafoam
(Subtles Collection)
This 5" tall x 2 1/4" wide x 3/4" deep treat box holds a Kit Kat "Easter Break" chocolate bunny.  I used Soft Seaform cardstock (item 146988) - cut at 11" x 3 3/4" and scored on the 11" side at 5", 5 3/4", and 10 3/4"; and scored on the 3 3/4" side at 3/4" on both sides.  The "flap" top was cut from Soft Seafoam cardstock using a large label die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies (item 151690), and was scored on the long side (with the edge of one end's half circle pressed against the edge of my scoring board) at 1 3/8" and 2 1/8".  After the DSP panels were glued to the front and back of the box, the label was glued to the back of the box with the 2 1/8" score line aligned with the top edge of the back of the box.
To secure the label flap I used two of the Basic Grey small magnetic discs, which I purchased at my local scrapbooking store.  I glued one "-" magnet and one "+" magnet to the underside of the front of the flap and to the front of the box, respectively.
I used Soft Seafoam DSP from the 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortments - Subtles (item 155229) for the DSP panels for the front and back of the box.  Each DSP panel was matted with Very Vanilla Thick cardstock (item 144237) allowing for a 1/16" border.  I "ruffled" the edges of the Very Vanilla Thick cardstock by running the side of the blade of my craft knife along the edges.  To decorate the front of the flap I glued on a button from my stash (that I thought matched pretty closely with the So Saffron cardstock - item 105118 - I used for the flower) through which I tied a gold cord bow (Simply Elegant Trim - item 155766).  To decorate the front of the box I added two sprigs of Soft Seafoam cardstock leaves, and a So Saffron cardstock flower (with a Very Vanilla Thick cardstock center), which I cut using the Pierced Blooms dies (item 154312).  I also added two sections trimmed off of a leaf cut from gold cardstock (Brushed Metallic 12" x 12" Cardstock - item 153524) using the Ranunculus dies - item 157976 (which is also available as part of the Ranunculus Romance Bundle - item 157977 - with the Ranunculus Romance stamp set).
For a little more embellishment for the front I added five Polished Dots (item 158134) - including one large dot for the center of the flower.

Lidded Window Treat Box - Pear Pizzazz (Subtles Collection)
For this 2 1/2" tall x 2" x 2" lidded window treat box I used Pear Pizzazz cardstock (item 131201) and constructed the box as I did for the Petal Pink cardstock three window treat box from my blog post last week, which was based on the dimensions of a Hershey's Kisses box https://archiesatelier.blogspot.com/2022/02/a-few-more-sale-bration-projects-hello.html - with the exception that I have only one window this time!  I used Pear Pizzazz DSP from the 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortments - Subtles (item 155229) for the DSP panels for the front, back, sides and top of the box.  Before cutting the window opening I glued on the DSP panel to the front of the box.  I cut the window using the Layering Circle dies (item 151770).  Before assembling the box I glued the acetate (Window Sheets - item 142314) panel, measuring approximately 1 3/4" x 2 1/4", to the inside of the front panel of the box behind the window opening.  To embellish the front of the box I added a leaf sprig cut from Pear Pizzazz cardstock using the Forever Flourishing dies (item 152714); three flowers cut from Basic White cardstock (item 159276) using the small flower dies included with the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder (item 157641); six of the Pearl Basic Jewels (item 144219); and one of the Bumblebee Trinkets (item 155568).  And finally, around the box I tied a bow using gold cord from Simply Elegant Trim (item 1555766).
