Daisy Seed Packet Tote

(a fond farewell to the All Dressed Up and Pierced Blooms dies and Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder!)

Hello!  Today I am sharing a quick project I worked on this week featuring two of my favourite die sets - All Dressed Up (item 151665) and Pierced Blooms (item 154312) - and the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (item 152718) - all of which, unfortunately, are retiring!
On March 23, 2022, Stampin' Up! released the list of retiring products from the May 2021-April 2022 Annual Catalogue - and unfortunately the All Dressed Up dies, the Pierced Blooms dies, and the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, all made the list!  However, the good news is that both die sets and the embossing folder are available (but only while supplies last!) at a discount- the dies are both discounted by a substantial 50% and the embossing folder by 20%!
For this week's version of the tote bag seed packet holder I was inspired by the Shasta Daisy seed packet.  Using the All Dressed Up dies I cut the base of the bag and the handles from Pacific Point cardstock (item 111350).  I cut an additional front panel from Pacific Point cardstock, which I embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  Before completing the assembly of the bag, I glued the embossed panel to one bag section.  I used the Pierced Blooms dies to cut the flowers, flowers' centers, and leaves - for the flowers I used Basic White cardstock (item 159276); for the flowers' centers I used  Mango Melody cardstock (item 146989); and for the leaves I used Granny Apple Green cardstock (item 146990) and Garden Green cardstock (item 102584).  To cut the little spade I used the Garden dies (item 157918) - cutting the handle from Early Espresso cardstock (item 119686), and the blade from Silver Foil (Silver Foil 12" x 12" Specialty Pack - item 156457). To cut the little cultivator I used the Rain Boots dies (item 157690) - cutting the handle from Early Espresso cardstock (item 119686), and the "fork" from Silver Foil. After gluing the spade and cultivator to the bag I glued on a small bow made with Linen Thread (item 104199). For just a little bit of sparkle, to the center of each flower I added one of the Opal Rounds (item 154289).

To accompany this seed packet tote bag I made a simple co-ordinating gift card.  For the base of the 3" x 3" card I used Basic White Thick cardstock (item 159229).  I matted the Pacific Point cardstock panel with Mango Melody cardstock, the edges of which I "ruffled" by scratching the blade of my craft knife along the edges of the cardstock.  To complete the card I added one flower and four leaves to the Pacific Point cardstock panel.  Using an envelope punch board I made the card's envelope from a leftover piece of the Sale-A-Bration Friendly Hello DSP.

Since I have really enjoyed using the All Dressed Up dies for many occasions I have included here a few photos of some of my favourite "All Dressed Up" projects, indicating additional retiring products that were used:

For the "hello fabulous" bag I used Cinnamon Cider cardstock (item 153078), the Dressed To Impress stamp set (item 158321), and the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder (item 150646), all of which are retiring products.

The Basic Black cardstock circle tag backing the dragonfly was cut using the retiring Encircled In Beauty dies (item 155546).

For this project trio I used the retiring You're A Peach 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (item 155686) and Stitched So Sweetly dies (item 151690).

For these two bags I used the retiring Dandy Wishes dies (item 154315) and Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

For each of these bags I used the retiring Poinsettia dies (item 153522), and, for the "Merry Christmas" sentiment, the retiring Perfectly Plaid stamp set (item 158335).

For these bags I used the retiring Just Jade cardstock (item 153079) and  Hand Penned 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (item 155499).

For these two bags I used the retiring Dressed To Impress stamp set (item 158321).

For this bag I used the retiring Dressed To Impress stamp set (item 158321) and, for the bag front, the retiring You're A Peach 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (item 1555686).

On this Halloween treat bag the large Basic Black cardstock doily was cut using the retiring Encircled In Beauty dies (item 155546).

To make the flowers on these projects I used the retiring Dandy Wishes dies (item 154315).

This bag features the retiring Pierced Blooms dies (item 154312) and Dressed To Impress stamp set (item 158321).

This seed packet tote bag also features the retiring Pierced Blooms dies (item 154312).
