Catch You Later!

Hello!  Today I am sharing two card projects featuring the new Stampin' Up! stamp set, "Catch You Later" (item 158037) from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalogue.
This is another very cute stamp set and again I had a lot of fun working on these projects!  All images were stamped on watercoloour paper using Stazon Jet Black Ink (item 101406) and coloured using Stampin' Up! watercolour pencils (Assortment 1 - item 141709; and Assortment 2 - item 149014).
For the base of this 4" x 4 1/2" card I used Gray Granite cardstock (item 146983).  Pale Papaya cardstock (item 155668) was used for the sentiment tag (the tag was cut using the Tailor Made Tags dies - item 155563); the first mat for the front decorative paper panel; and for the inside panel.  I used the Layering Circle dies (item 151770) to cut the watercolour image circle and the Basic Black cardstock (item 121045) circle. I also used Basic Black cs for the mat for the Pale Papaya front panel.  The front decorative paper panel is from a sheet of the Sale-A-Bration Sunshine & Rainbows 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (I also used a strip on the inside Pale Papaya panel).  After colouring the image with the watercolour pencils I applied some Shimmer Crystal Effects (item 150892) to the goldfish bowl - I squeezed a few drops in the center of the bowl and spread it around with a small paint brush - the Crystal  Effects does become quite tacky quickly so in order to have a fairly smooth surface I had to work quickly in spreading it with the paintbrush!

The two little hearts that I stamped on the sentiment tag are from the "Nuts & Bolts" stamp set (item 157650), also a new stamp set featured in the January-June 2022 Mini Catalogue.  I stamped both the sentiment and the hearts in Stazon Jet Black Ink (item 101406).  To the tag I tied some Black Baker's Twine (Baker's Twine Essentials Pack - item 155475), and to complete the card, added two small and two large Matte Black Dots (item 154284).

I made the co-ordinating envelope from Pale Papaya cardstock (item 155668) using an envelope punch board.  I embellished the front of the envelope with strips of the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP, Gray Granite cardstock, Pumpkin Pie cardstock (item 105117), and a few splatters made using the Basic Gray watercolour pencil (Watercolour Pencils - Assortment 1 - item 141709).

For the base of this 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" card I used Early Espresso cardstock (item 119686),  The decorative paper panels on the front and inside of the card are Soft Suede from the 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortments - Neutrals - item 155226.  Before using the Layering Circles dies (item 151770) to cut the circle window opening in the 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" Early Espresso cardstock panel, I embossed the panel using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (item 152718).  After gluing the embossed Early Espresso cs panel to the watercoloured image panel, and wrapping and then tying a Linen Thread (item 104199) bow around the embossed panel, I adhered the embossed panel to the front of the card using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (item 144108).   To complete the front of the card I added three Flirty Flamingo cardstock (item 141416) hearts:  the stitched heart was cut using the smaller of the two heart dies included with the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder (item 157641) and was attached using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals; the two smaller hearts were cut using the small heart die from the Birds & More dies (item 152721) and were attached using liquid glue (Multipurpose Liquid Glue - item 110755).

The sentiment was stamped on watercolour paper using Soft Suede ink (item 147115).  I again used the Layering Circle dies (item 151770) to cut the sentiment circle and the Early Espresso cs matting circle.  The small heart glued to the sentiment circle has been cut from Flirty Flamingo cs again using the small heart die from the Birds & More dies.

I used an envelope punch board to make the co-ordinating envelope from some retired Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper I still had on hand.
