Poppy Moments Projects

Hello!  Today I am sharing several projects featuring the Stampin' Up! Poppy Moments dies.

Scrapbook Page

For this 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" scrapbook page I used the following supplies, in addition to the Poppy Moments dies (item 151594):

• Mossy Meadow cardstock [cs] (item 133676) - used for the base of the scrapbook page as well as for leaves;
• Early Espresso cs (item 119686) - used for a mat on the scrapbook page as well as for the frame for the photograph;
• Very Vanilla Thick cs (item 144237);
• Poppy Parade cs (item 119793) - used for the flowers and the buds;
• Bumble Bee cs (item 153077) - used for the center of the flower and sponged lightly with Crumb Cake ink (item 147116);
• Old Olive cs (item 100702) - used for leaves;
• Basic Black cs (item 121045);
• Stitched Rectangles dies (item 151820) - used to cut the frame for the photograph;
• Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder (item 149643) - used to emboss the Early Espresso frame;
• Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder (item 152718) - used to emboss the flowers and leaves; and
• a piece I had left over from the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Always Remember Card (5 1/4" x 5 1/4")

The additional supplies I used for this card are:

• Basic White Thick cs (item 159229) - used for the base of the card;
• Basic Black cs;
• Basic Gray cs (item 121044);
• Poppy Parade cs - used for the flower and the buds;
• Old Olive and Mossy Meadow cs - used for the leaves;
• Bumble Bee cs - used for the center of the flower, which was sponged lightly with Crumb Cake ink;
• Peaceful Moments stamp set (item 151595) for the "Always Remember" sentiment, which has been stamped on Basic White Thick cs using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (item 132708);
• Tailor Made Tags dies (item 155563) - used to cut the tag on which the sentiment has been stamped; 
• Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder - used to emboss the Basic Gray panel.  The panel was sponged lightly with White ink (item 147277) and then splattered using the Basic Black watercolour pencil  (Watercolour Pencil Assortment 1 - item 141709); and
• Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder - used to emboss the leaves and the flower buds.  To emboss the flowers I used the retired Subtle 3D embossing folder.

I used the edge of my scissors to "ruffle" or distress the edges of the Basic Black panel.

Gift Bag and Gift Card (3 1/2" x 3 1/2") with Envelope

The gift bag, which measures 3 1/2" x 5" x 1" wide, was made following the instructions found on https://pollyspaper.wordpress.com/ [Polly's Paper Studio] (Vintage Treat Bag - Day 2 of 13 Days of Halloween - September 25, 2019).  For the handle of the bag I used a strip of Basic Black cs 1" wide by 8 1/2" long, and the large black buttons adhered to each side of the bag by the handle are from my Dollar Tree button stash!

 

The additional supplies used are:

• Real Red cs (item 102482) - used for the flowers;
• Basic Gray cs - used for the base of the gift card;
• Basic Black cs;
• Bumble Bee cs - used for the center of the flower on the gift bag;
• Old Olive and Mossy Meadow cs - used for the leaves;
• Basic White Thick cs - used for the tag for the card sentiment, and for the panel for the inside of the card; 
• Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder - used to emboss the flowers (the leaves were not embossed);
• Basic Gray designer series paper from the Neutrals 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment (item 155226) - used for the front and side panels of the gift bag; the front panel and decorative strip for the inside of the card; and for the envelope, which was made using an envelope punch board;
• Tailor Made Tags dies - used to cut the tag for the sentiment on the card;
• Peaceful Cabin stamp set (item 156395) for the "For You" sentiment, which has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink; and
• Real Red 3/16" Braided Linen Trim (item 153546) - used for the bow on the envelope.  This trim is currently available on the Clearance Rack!

Orange Poppy Card (6" x 4 1/8")

The additional supplies I used on my final project are:

• Pumpkin Pie cs (item 105117) - used for the card base and the flowers and buds.  The flowers, including the black edges and centers, have been splattered using the Pumpkin Pie watercolour pencil (Watercolour Pencils Assortment 1);
• Basic Black cs;
• Bumble Bee cs - used for the center of the flower, to the tips of which I have added a little orange using the Pumpkin Pie watercolour pencil;
• Basic White Thick cs;
• Old Olive and Mossy Meadow cs - used for the leaves;
• Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder - used to emboss the leaves and buds;
• Stitched Greenery die (item 155451) - used on the Basic White Thick cs front panel; and
• Garden Wishes stamp set (item 154408) - for the sentiment "Your acts of kindness are like a breath of fresh air", which has been stamped on the Basic White Thick cs interior panel using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Using an envelope punch board I made the envelope from a piece of the Sale-A-Bration Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper.
