Halloween Mini Album/Scrapbook

 Featuring Stampin' Up! Cute Halloween 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper And Frightfully Cute Bundle

Hello!  Do not be too quick to put away all your Halloween stamps, dies, and papers as soon as all the Trick or Treaters have been and gone, and all the treats eaten.  You may wish to show off how cute your children, grandchildren or pets looked in their Halloween costumes, or to showcase your own Halloween decor or that of your neighbours and friends, and a mini album or scrapbook would be perfect for this.

For this mini album/scrapbook I adapted the instructions provided by Liz The Paper Project in her July 25, 2020, video "Easy 6 x 6 Booklet Share And Tutorial" (blog:  https://www.lizthepaperproject.com/). This mini album/scrapbook is a lot of fun to work on, and you can decorate and embellish it as little or as much as you like.

I have used five sheets of Basic Black cardstock (item 121045), each cut at 6" x 6", and scored as follows:
  • for the first page (cover) - scored at 1/2" (this will form a tab on the left side to which the second page will be glued);
  • for the second page - scored at 2" (this will form a flap or pocket on the right side of the page);
  • for the third page - scored at 1/2" (which will form a tab for adhering the page to the back of the second page) and at 2" from the right side (this will form a flap or pocket on the right side of the page); and
  • for both the fourth and fifth pages - scored at 1/2" (which will form the tabs to adhere each page to the preceding page).
Additional pages can of course be added!

I have included here a series of photos showing how the pages are adhered together:

After adhering the pages together I then started matting the pages with additional cardstock and the DSP, leaving a small black border around each page.  Before adhering the DSP panels to the cover and back of the last page I placed the ribbon around the mini album/scrapbook, adhering it with a little bit of glue in the center of both the cover and back of the last page.

In addition to the Cute Halloween 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (item 156479); the Frightfully Cute Bundle (item 156493 - including the Frightfully Cute stamp set [156487] and the Frightful Tags dies [156492]; and Basic Black cs, I used the following supplies in my project:
  • Pumpkin Pie cs (item 105117);
  • Basic White cs (item 159276);
  • Basic Gray cs (item 121044);
  • Smoky Slate cs (item 131202);
  • Highland Heather cs (item 146986);
  • Poinsettis dies (item 153522) - for the black flower and sprigs on the cover;

  • Encircled in Beauty dies (item 155546);
